Safety in the USA?
Hi All, especially you Members in the USA. Would anyone care to share their thoughts and observations on the local situation regarding the Presidential installation? We've heard and seen stuff that appears to be cause for concern, but this is all long-distance; maybe it is overstated, maybe the oppo...

Re: HDs not performing
Thanks Ben,
I'll run the manufacturer's own test and see if it corroborates Benchmark's results.

HDs not performing
Having benchmark tested my computer, and been told that at least one of my SSDs was below expected performance, and one mechanical was way over, I bought four new SATA3 cables, and replaced all of my HDD cables, 2 mechanical, 2 SSD. I ensured the all four went into my four SATA3 sockets. I just ran ...

Re: Bitzer project
Good response to this one, I'm pleased to say. I'm also pleased to have consolidated a bit of knowledge about the seven aircraft, particularly the 4 engined examples. I think that we'll close this one around Australian midday tomorrow, so if there's any late entries, you have about 15 hours to squee...

Re: Bitzer project
Very little special knowledge required for this one, just a bit of checking. Then all you need to do is match the aircraft to their details! So your answer should be in the form "1 = Halifax, 2 = Lancaster.....etc, through to 7 = " If that's not clear, please ask for more explanation. :) S...

Re: Bitzer project
I have to come clean and correct 'Airspeed'. I was given a tick and an award for the DH Flamingo but my guess was so far off the mark I should have been booked. However I did come in rather early with the Avro Ashton but got left out on the awards. Swings and roundabouts. :) Mick Wood Er-h...

Re: Bitzer project
NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS. The answer was the Avro Ashton, stop me if you've heard it before. Oh, right.   I say that you lot are a bunch of swots! There's NOTHING you don't know. Who got there? Keith (Dev One) swept in at 17:07 my time. In hot pursuit were Brian Frankl...
