Re: No picture of chosen aircraft in 'create a flight'.

Very many thanks DaveB for your advice which worked perfectly.
A simple solution but it's having the knowledge that matters and you did.
It just remains to import about 50 or 60 Great British Classics and i'm happy
as a pig in muck or at least something very similar. Thanks once again
Terry.

No picture of chosen aircraft in 'create a flight'.

I have installed FS 2004 onto my laptop so I can have a Flight Sim with me wherever I go. Everything works fine but when I go to 'create a flight' and choose an aircraft there is just a black space where the small picture of the aircraft should be. This is the same for the original installed aircraf...

Re: Aircraft Manufacture

Many thanks for the replies Guys and all the info. I agree entirely with your last comments Garry about how the industry was allowed to slip away, not with a bang but more of a whimper. Was it not the fact that our strength lay in the design and innovation and introduction of new ideas in the aircra...

Aircraft Manufacture

Talking to an old friend recently we got round to discussing what aircraft are still being made in this country at the present time. Apart from bits for the Airbus we realised that we didn't know the answer to the question. I said the guys at the CBFS forum would know so here is the question. Just w...

Kazunori Ito

Have I missed something or has the Honourable Mr Ito ceased to make and release aircraft models for Flight Sim. I check all the usual sites regularly and have'nt seen anything from him for several months now. I am aware of the posts and discussions last year about his work, and the consensus of opin...

Re: "Hello, is that Kwik-Fit?"

Just as a matter of interest, has anyone any idea how much this incident will have cost simply for the replacement of the tyres alone, regardless of the costs of runway blockage, aircraft delays etc.

New Computer

Hi all CBFS forum members and guests. I certainly like the new format and screen layouts. Compliments on your great work to all concerned. I have given up the struggle to make my old computer run properly ( or at least run as I think it should), and I am taking the plunge and committing myself to bu...

Floods

Hi Guys..... I live in Evesham Worcestershire, and if you've been watching the TV news regarding the floods you will have seen our town was in the thick of it. The heavy rain started in the early hours of last Friday morning and boy did it rain. I've lived in Aden in Arabia and at times they would g...

Boot Problem

Hello Guys ...... and thanks for the suggestions and things to check to try and solve my boot problem. I think Peter's suggestion regarding the internal CMOS battery change may be the answer as indeed the internal clock on my computer has stopped working and I have to reset the time every time I get...
