I have always considered the Connie to be an "honorary" Classic Brit. I think the same goes for the Tristar, not sure about the 707 though - although it has had a distinguished history with Classic British airlines, it still seems like an American aircraft (and the same goes for the 727).

I would love to see Concorde fly just one more time, but sadly the authorities don't. I very much doubt that the CAA, or the people who run Airbus or BA understand sentiment or nostalgia - they only see the costs involved so it'd never happen. Just think of all the paperwork that is involved before ...

Agree 100% with you there Steve, with the money that the BBC get from licenses and ITV through advertising.......I feel it is now the time when they all should be running a dedicated sports channel each so those who have no interest in sport be it football - cricket - golf - tennis etc can continue...

I have very fond memories of some of the earlier sims (and earlier games) that I had, but I think that some things are best just remembered.

Those are really good - especially the first one, which is really close to the photo.

I'm hoping that in FSX main 2D panels will not be needed. That's assuming they have sorted the refresh rate issue in the new sim!
