Re: Sad News

I'm shocked to hear this news, Toby Vickers just told me. Although I haven't visited the site much recently I am still sorry to hear about this. My condolences to Dave's family. - Paul

Kudos to Apple

Just under 6 yrs ago I bought an iMac with 3 yrs Apple care warranty. All was fine until about this time last year when the screen developed a fault. I took in to a repairers in Guildford to see if they could identify the fault but it behaved perfectly for them. So I brought it home and it was OK fo...

Re: Cala Homes

Somebody else commented that it is a wonder they didn't highlight the possibility of international links via Dunsfold.

Cala Homes

Cala Homes have acquired a site in Cranleigh, Surrey for the building of 125 new houses. In their Environmental Plan submission they have stated that they will encourage their contractors to get to the site via the Cranleigh Main Line railway station as it is only 1 mile from the site. Re: Comet 4C XA-NAR - Seattle

Thanks Dave & Roger. Somehow I don't think when it is finished they will be flying it down to the main museum at Boeing Field like they did with the prototype 727 a few weeks ago.

Comet 4C XA-NAR - Seattle

I've just come back from a business trip to Boeing in Seattle (which included a visit to the 787,777 & 747-8 production lines - no photography allowed). While I was there I went over to the Museum of Flight Restoration facility and had a look at Comet 4C XA-NAR, the last Comet in the US. She has...

Re: VC10 ZA150 First Public Run

It was down to Tonks taking the time to come all the way down to Dunsfold on two occasions that enabled us prove to the show organisers that a VC10 run could be done during the show.

Thanks again Tonks, the '150 team are very grateful  .

BTW - that's me in the FE position :) . h
