Success.... Whilst looking in the config i had a thought that instead of having 3 different files for basically the same aircraft i put all the textures into the file i knew worked and Bingo problem solved so it seemed like something was missing in the config or .air file. So i would like to thank y...

I have tried a tristar panal and also a SGA dc10 panal off flightsim.com but i still am only getting speed readouts on the united one,.
My next step is to look through the config file and see if there is anything different. Anyone know what i should look out for .

i havent been on or seen any websites/forums about SGA to be honest tho i havent looked for it. I was going to ask on here but there are very few DC-10 flights that have been flown that i thought i would just see if i could do it myself. lol, yeah all on.
when i was testing it out i got to cruise in the United one and switched to the fedex one and the speed just read 0 which the autopilot didnt like very much...
Must say tho it does make landing interesting not knowing your speed

I agree about the A380 it is growing on me but a think a longer fuselage all round really would improve upon it.
But as for the 787 well i fell in love with it since it was first pulled out of the hanger. Got to love them wing.
