Re: R.I.A.T
I remember the B2 Dave. Despite the single flypast (which is all it was ever scheduled to be) it still gave me goosebumps for some reason. It was clear from the smoke trails that the whole formation had selected idle power for the flypast, presumably to fool the Russians into thinking the B2 is sile...

Re: What sim are we all using most?
I'm the one (so far) who voted that I hardly use either nowadays! Although I've had a couple of goes in the last fortnight, I've just lost interest somewhere. When I do 'fly', it is only FSX. I think my loss of interest might be due to the lack of decent add-ons for FSX, compared to FS9. This leads ...

Re: CBFS keeps crashing my IE 8!
I'm having a few problems with IE8. Odd stuff, like the pop-up blocker blocking pull-down menus on the BBC News website. And locking up when I go to the pop-up blocker settings. And me having to log into all the sites I've visited today, which are normally saved. Oh, and it's slower than IE7, which ...

Re: Yeovil Airday = poor & Vulcan
I'm also seriously pondering Leuchars. No Tornado display, and the entire foreign action will be two F16s and (possibly) a Mig 29. So basically, with the exception of the Vulcan, BBMF, RNHF Reds and the Air Atlantique jets (assuming a full turn out) it's a pretty long day for not a lot of action. I...

Re: Trident 1C anyone £15,000?
There may have been a thread about this simulator before but this thread is about it being for sale on e-bay..so is new thread subject Garry  As was the last one... I started it. Anyway, that wasn't my point. As impressive as it is, I think a description of what drives it (FS9) and a nod to t...

Re: Trident 1C anyone £15,000?
Been posted on here before folks. It's the one (Kevin?) Saker from the TPS forum built. It's running DM's model, so not strictly accurate as a T1 sim. I'd love to have it though!

Re: The Airborne Victor on 'Airliners'
Nice vid! You can almost hear the pilot thinking "Ah, what the hell, they can only revoke my license - but hang on, I haven't got one, yippee". I'm guessing that wasn't what the pilot was thinking at all! :fart: Clearly caused by a BIG gust of wind. I suppose they'll cut power at 80...

Re: The Airborne Victor on 'Airliners'
Without trawling throught the web for detailed answers, does anyone know in a nutshell whats happened to the crew and whether the Aircraft suffered any damage? I believe (from Pprune) that the pilot / organisers submitted a report to the CAA, who haven't responded as yet. There was no major...
