I've got a soft spot for the Tu-154. Like a Trident with big enough engines! Never tried it in FSX though - like others, put off by the Cyrillic alphabet, and (I'd expect) metric altimeters.

Re: Hello...again
Hi guys.
I've got the latest P3D installed now. Couldn't find my FSX disk, and got impatient! It will turn up eventually...
OrbX looks interesting! Downloading now.
All I need now is time!
Thanks for the recommendations.

Hi. This is my first post here in years. Let me explain why... About 3 years ago, my PC broke. It never ran FSX or P3D particularly well anyway, and since we were about to relocate at the time I left it broken. Now, I'm typing from a BRAND NEW computer, which should eat FSX. Hopefully. :dunno: My qu...

Re: EE LIGHTNING F.6
Has nobody bought this then? I'm tempted, although I don't think I've used FSX for nearly a year... A good Lightning (and a bit of free time) could change that though.

Re: The Worlds Fastest Helicopter
I doubt it. That's not a 'pure' helicopter. I'm sure Bell made a jet augmented one in the 60s which topped 300mph.austerdriver wrote:I guess that means the Lynx will lose its record as the worlds fastest helicopter?

Re: Glider Crash at Shoreham...
Wow! Obviously the composite structure of the glider did it's job superbly! As you say Garry, surprised that's not made the wider news, probably because it's not a video!
I'm due to go gliding before the end of the year, so I don't think I'll show this to the wife...

Re: Leuchars Airshow 2010
Wow, a SAAB Tunnen! I remember building a model of one of those about 25 years ago when I was a nipper. Tunnen is Swedish for barrel... Was the show not to the usual standards then? Leuchars is usually reckonned to be the best RAF show in the UK, even though Waddington is billed as the biggest. Than...

Yes, the Chinese ones have conventional yokes instead of the rams horns.
