Re: Latest X Plane Experiences ?

If you do decide to purchase X-Vision, I've tried every preset I could find and by far the best is https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/46434-xvision-real-life-v8-1135-preset-w-portrait-mode-uxwpasxp-by-leale-ryan/ Some of the others are hideous and others look great in the air but terri...

If it was an Android handset, you can track its location via 'Google Find My Device'.

Re: Latest X Plane Experiences ?

I started flying back in the days of FS5.1 and then quickly upgraded to FS98. I then had each version up to FSX SE but gradually became increasingly disillusioned with Microsoft's efforts. Eventually I just gave up with it, sold my PC, got a laptop and stopped using it altogether. After a few years,...

Re: Rebuilding my PC

That's a nice system Chris... Very similar to mine and X-Plane runs really well.

Re: X-Vision for X-Plane

Still fiddling around with presets on this. I thought I'd pause the sim and fast forward time by 1 hour to show the lighting and realism X-Vision and XP provides. https://i.imgur.com/wJg2zVt.png https://i.imgur.com/SbqBePa.png https://i.imgur.com/I67JQel.png https://i.imgur.com/ea7KMZ6.png https://i...

Re: First P-8 delivered to the RAF

The only decent 737 was the 200. Everything afterwards is simply an ugly heap.

Re: Joystick - Yokes.

I was saying to a friend of mine about this very subject the other day. There seems to be a gap on the market for a good quality stick / stick with throttle that isn't meant for military sim use. I fly with a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS X stick which looks more civil than military but isn't exactly ...

Re: Antwerp by Fokker 50, attempt 2 (successful!)

I think we read the same article in De Tijd by the sounds of it! Be careful who you go into business with is the moral of the story there I think. I'm hoping this is here to stay. The second most popular route was to Zürich, so I wouldn't be at all averse to them reacquiring a second Fokker and res...

Re: Antwerp by Fokker 50, attempt 2 (successful!)

VLM was such a great airline but as soon as Air France got involved, it started going downhill. Just like the Air France KLM mix, it's only KLM that really makes any money. When the Chinese then got involved, it looked great from the outside but having read a lengthy article in Dutch as to what went...
