Re: Oh Boy, This Will Blow Your Mind!!

I've watched a few videos covering this and I just can't get excited about it. Although I'm with X-Plane these days, I used to fly with MSFS a lot although in the end, I got sick and tired of the terrible graphics engine and it's general inaccuracies. I appreciate this is very much all new but with ...

Re: Going to Extremes?

Personally I wouldn't order from any company as it is usually cheaper to build your own. I appreciate not everyone knows how but it's certainly an option and you'll get longer warranty periods on each component as opposed to 12 months or whatever you get with a shop bought effort. I'll be up in the ...

Re: Rebuilding my PC

Hi Chris, I recently changed my case to a Corsair Carbide 275Q and have been mighty pleased with it. Maybe worth a look to see if it fits your needs? https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Mid-Tower-ATX-Cases/Carbide-Series-275Q-Mid-Tower-Quiet-Gaming-Case-%E2%80%94-Black/p/CC-90111...

Re: X-Vision for X-Plane

Slight update... I decided that that preset was also too dark. I appreciate how it looks when at altitude but down at ground level, it was far too vivid and dark. Given that, I tried a couple more before finding a preset that isn't as harsh but still maintains a realistic appearance. It's not perfec...

X-Vision for X-Plane

I've been looking at purchasing X-Vision over the last day or two and decided to take the plunge with its purchase price of £20. It's pretty much a shader tool but with many more options and the ability to use presets created by other people. I checked out a few presets but found them to be too dark...

Re: Advice on Netintelligence.

Hi Nigel. I can't say I've ever heard of Netintelligence and that includes the times I have read up on anti virus software to see what's what. I also looked to join SSE some time ago but spent ages waiting on the phone just to become a customer. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and SSE aren't known...

Carenado Fokker 50 (X-Plane)

I've waited for years for a decent Fokker 50 to come out and now I finally have one. Having spent 3 years dispatching VLM Fokker 50's from London City, it quickly became my favourite aircraft and remains so. https://i.imgur.com/MLOFlns.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Loqsc58.jpg https://i.imgur.com/le84h0f....
