Re: Honeycomb Yoke.....My Impression.

I've ordered the Gladiator II. Desk space rules out a yolk and throttle arrangement. I got the Gladiator for a good price but it's coming from the States and isn't the lightest joystick around so the postage is a bit eye watering :-O .

Re: Rebuilding my PC

Okay, I've get P3D and X-Plane reinstalled and had a quick play with both. For P3D I was in France using France VFR scenery, which is always a bit of a resource hog. Performance was good to excellent - substantial improvement over the previous hardware. The degree of improvement was a little unexpec...

Re: Rebuilding my PC

Thanks Chris. It certainly seems pretty good but I haven't had a chance to use in anger just yet. Still moving X-Plane files around and then relocating X-Plane to the SSD. With my previous motherboard I lost two SATA ports when the M2 drive was inserted, which was bearable but a bit restrictive. Wit...

Re: Rebuilding my PC

Apologies Dale, my previous reply was completely wrong! The graphics card is an Asus RTX 2070. Changing hardware used to be so simple - it took me nearly an hour this morning to reactive Windows 10. In the end I had to speak to a live person; fortunately I still had my Windows 7 key so that was the ...

Re: Happy Birthday Chris Hunt

Morning chaps and many thanks. Had a great weekend - went to Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing on Saturday. Enjoyed both but the computing museum title and the building housing it is a poor match and it's definitely Geek central - enjoyable for all that though.
