Re: Beam Eye Tracker
Hi Larry, Beam uses Opentrack and this is where the fine calibration takes place. Other then eye tracking Beam has no separate calibration process. I'm impressed with Beam and it appears to work well in all directions although I had to move my camera to below my monitor for best results. If you have...

Beam Eye Tracker
The Beam Eye Tracker is getting quite a bit of coverage at the moment and after using it for a couple of days I can see why. I bought Beam Eye Tracker yesterday for a little over £23 and if you already have a web cam that's not much at all for what is a pretty good head and eye tracker. I didn't but...

Re: New Tonka for MSFS
I was thinking along the same lines Ben. I would love to see a good Jag in the sim. Although.not a Brit there is though what looks to be a very good Bronco for MSFS. The Bronco was one of my favourite model kits back in the day.

New Tonka for MSFS
A new Tonka in the way, this time by Indiafoxtecho. It looks to be excellent with, among other things, a working TFR, albeit slaved to the radio altimeter so no look ahead. There's a very good preview on YouTube by an ex Tornado pilot.

Re: Navigating the Vulcan
First flight in the Vulcan Nigel (well first successful one anyway). It's quite impressive isn't it; easily the best of the simulated Vulcans to date.

Re: GPU Error Crash Fixed
By switching to HDMI I no longer have a Tdr issue in MSFS. Nor did I have an obvious Tdr problem with anything else, even with the use of the Display Port (no graphics reset messages). I suspect something in the MSFS code is at the root cause of this one.

Re: A Useful False Dawn
Hi Ben, I have an NVidia card and I didn't know about the Windows shader cache. I'll include that as standard practice from now on. I have a standard 2070 so I don't believe I'm missing out by using the HDMI port so I'll keep the new set up
Thanks for the info - it all helps.

A Useful False Dawn
How many times has this happened (lots)? It turns out that the Tdr fix was yet another red herring, but a useful one in this instance. After turning off TdrWatch I was getting weird errors (black screens) in MSFS, which often required a reboot. These were happening frequently and without any discern...
