Re: Gettin' old
Mike, I'm sorry to read this. If it's any encouragement, my late mother had glaucoma, and by following medical advice and using the eye drops, she got by perfectly well till she died in her nineties. Because it can be hereditary, I am at risk too, and I get a full NHS retinal scan every year. No ...

Re: Fibre to the premises
I used to get around 22Mbps.
I just did this one :)
Speedtest 19-01-26.png
I know that's pathetic compared to what many of you have, but it's a step up :agree:
Not pathetic at all, Mike. I gather you live in a fairly rural area, so that speed is top notch. You are well into MSFS territory ...

Re: MSFS2020 - the long goodbye.
Unfortunately, Imgur, the photo-hosting site I used, has pulled out of the UK due to the Online Safety Act and a pending prosecution. Unless they restore their service, none of the pictures I've ever posted here will be visible.

Re: Micropose into MS2024
Remember MicroProse from the 80's when they first started out? Now they are back again with the Flying Fortress for MS2024.
Today's Microprose is not the one of old. The trademark name has changed hands at least twice since the glory days of M1A1 Tank Platoon, Falcon 4 etc. I'm not yet convinced ...

Re: American Navigation Plate
What's the point of this Forum if you don't use it?
It's costing Ben to keep it going, if that makes any difference to you.
a) I've never heard the story of the pilot, so the number plate didn't strike a chord.
b) I get about as much response from people ( including you, Mike ) when I post.

Re: MSFS2020 - the long goodbye.
Great shots Paul. I may pick this up going into the winter when I dust off the PC. Still waiting for the 146 in FS24 though. 😁
Thanks Ben - I've been very impressed with the Aeroplane Heaven Lanc. From what I've read, it's one of their all-time best sellers, and deservedly so.
I too am waiting ...
