Re: M.2 or SSD?
Now have the engineer from Virgin tomorrow morning then take Babs to Spec Savers and hopefully when I get back will have time to download MS2020. By the way Nigel, once you get MSFS downloaded and running, don't be alarmed if you sometimes get a message pop up about a slow internet connection, or i...

Trip through Tokyo
This is a trip on the Toko mass transit system at night, in HD right up to 4K. Absolutely amazing - if you've got a spare half hour, it is well worth a watch.

Can't do these combo ones. It's difficult enough for me to identify one aircraft, let alone halves of two.

Re: DHC Dash-7 for MSFS
The latest news from SWS' FB page, if anyone's interested: " Next, our full attention is focused on the Dash 7 in cooperation with PILOT'S GesmbH. The exterior model is undergoing decal placement, so we are placing rivets, panel lines and de-ice boots. After that, the aircraft will be ready to ...

Judith Durham RIP

Re: ORBX in MSFS
Orbx Central is what you need - it used to be called FTX Central. https://orbxdirect.com/central I have a number of their products for MSFS, including Singapore and Melbourne, and Orbx Central is excellent for installing, updating and keeping tabs on what products you've got. I wouldn't go to any 3r...

Depressing isn't it, Brian. I think one of my school teachers in Australia, David Balfour-Ogilvy, might have been related to Elaine Balfour-Ogilvy, one of the Australian nurses murdered by the Japanese on Banka island after the fall of Singapore. Nobody was ever brought to trial for that massacre.

Re: Return of the Mac.
Thanks both.
I don't think I'll be documenting the return journey in quite so much detail. It'll be more like a few 'postcards' from the flights over the Philippines, some snaps from Japan etc.
