Re: Just Flight sale
It may only be six weeks away, but it's still twelve months long . . . :wasntme: Forgive me - yes, I did and I've been so swamped around my shifts with Olympus engines (both 200 and 300 series) along with correspondance from several Vulcan pilots (including a QFI) that the C46 has again taken a back...

Re: Just Flight sale
Coincidentally, the Super / RAF expansion pack was asked about on the JF forum within the last 48 hours - the answer was that there will likely be some more detail and pics this year but the release is very much next year.

Paul.

Re: JustFlights next project
so it appears that one will be able to transfer the fuel around to maintain correct C of G, sounds really good. That is the plan, though there are far more tanks than FS can cope with. I'm not sure how it will be coded, but I'd imagine it will be individual tanks in their groupings rather than just...

Re: JustFlights next project
When we had the power on during our research trip to Wellesbourne, one of the things we did was move some fuel around so we have recording of the visuals (dolls eyes, needle movement on gauges) and also the audio of the pump running.

Paul.

Re: Just Flight VC10 Question.
Hi Nigel, Right then - I've gone through my notes, the manuals and conversations with our Ten pilot. Also flown a quick circuit to have a look at the situation again. The pitching down is more than I expected when viewed from the outside (see note after). However, 190kts is close to the top end of t...

Re: Just Flight VC10 Question.
I'll have a dig through my notes when I get off shift later, Nigel - should be able to give you a better response then.

Re: Just Flight VC10 Question.
Hi Nigel, According to the VC10 pilot on our testing team, the initial pitching is upwards followed by a downwards pitching towards the end of travel of the first stage of flaps. Further flap selection should then give progressively more nose-down. Within the limitations of FS, the only way to creat...

Re: Just Flight VC-10
It's a joint effort, similar to the Hunter - Aeroplane Heaven provide the base and then the in-house team add some 'bits'. From the product page: Following the success of our F-Lite (highly detailed but simplified systems) and Professional (study sim, complex systems) product ranges, the Jetliner ra...

Re: New Base to Replace Waddo Airshow
You should have seen Pershore (Throckmorton) last year - we were there early and on site right at the start but people were still waiting to get in mid-afternoon! A combination of the 'Vulcan effect' and single-lane roads leading up to the one entrance onto the site, it's put me off going this year ...

Re: Just Flight Chippie
Yes, I did and unfortunately I lost virtually everything that was on my computer and backup drive earlier this year when I got hit with the Cryptowall 3 virus (sod's law, the external backup drive was attached, the virus wasn't spotted by my AV and it wasn't noticed by the firewall!). The FS stuff d...
