There is a new repaint of Mike Stone's Supermarine Walrus available at AVSIM.com in Scottish Airlines livery.

It seems as though I remember someone here being interested in that particular paint scheme....

New book on Imperial Airways by R.E.G. Davies

Here's a new book on Imperial Airways... It covers not only Imperial from 1919 to 1939, but also examines many of the smaller British airlines before 1939. Includes many maps, photos and fleet lists. I got mine from Historic Aviation ... http://www.historicaviation.com/historicaviation/product_info....

There's some 1930's flightplan information, etc at these sites.

For the USA, you might try

http://www.calclassic.com/

they have some AI and flightplans for the 1940's and up.

I voted No, because I would want the 1920's - 1940's only.

If those were to be included, I would change my vote to a resounding YES!

19" Samsung SyncMaster 912N at 1024x768. (LCD) The resolutions available cause circles to look like ovals, and there's no screen height/width adjustments like on a CRT, to fix it. But you get used to it. :| There's also some shadowy black lag to FS view movement, but you get used to that too. A...

I just added Rowan's Battle of Britain (from 2002???) to my collection of Battle of Britain games; and got it to run on my XP machine. :D

It's got good strategic gameplay as well as good 1st person air combat. :D :D :D

Hello Toby,

I use FS9 mostly, because it looks so great.

And, because there are so many good planes for FS2002, I sometimes use that.

When I feel like blasting something, I'll use CFS2.

For a really great combat sim, I use IL-2 Forgotten Battles.
