Re: Imperial Airways book recommendations, please

I managed to get to Croydon once when visiting my daughter down south. One thing that intrigued me was a map on the wall showing Imperial routes. Apart from the known ones, there was the link across the Atlantic, across Canada to Vancouver and then across the Pacific to Australia. Imperial were quit...

Reviving a PC

Having a backup PC zapped by a local lightning strike, one surge too many for the protector, I was thinking of rebuilding with a new motherboard, processor, power unit and maybe video card. Re: Imperial Airways book recommendations, please

A dark and weary road could stretch ahead of you! I passed this way about 16 years ago when researching IA routes with an American friend for a VA feature. I'm not sure that you will find what you want in any one book. A couple of books that will give you the most information are: British Airways Vo...

Back to Who Knows Where

Firing up FSX on my laptop yesterday it announced that it was doing an update. Wondering what that could be I did notice that it now proclaims itself to be a Microsoft product instead of from the bunch who were steaming it before. With my memory I have forgotten already who they were! Is it just me ...

Re: Anyone understand Train Sims ?

I picked up TS on Instant Gaming as it was cheap and I only wanted something simple that could run on this laptop when I should be flight sim planning. Since then they seem to be having more sales on Steam and Greenmangaming than DFS, so I have a couple more routes that I have not got round to tryin...

Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA

Love it, now if only someone would produce an Avro Baby to sit alongside the Martlet. Should take half an hour or so to bash out the engine cover! :poke:

Bert Hinkler's one was even painted white. :)

Re: GLOSTER GLADIATORS BETA

€90 spent on an external backup drive might be worthy of consideration too! Far too late with this bit of pedantry, but a bit like that stone in the shoe you keep trying to ignore (or SWMBO) it bugs me that the Mk II Gladiator was never the Mk 2. Up to about 1942 all RAF Marks were in roman numerals...
