Regarding the Lanc for FSX, it's actually being updated with all of the knowledge that was learned from the Spit Development. In other words, if you like it now, you should love what the upgraded version will be. I don't want to get in what will have in terms of upgrades, because there's always what...

You could always remind him that the P-51 was a total dog till Rolls-Royce fitted it with a Merlin............. Actually that is patently false. It was a dog at altitude until it got the Merlin. It was one of the fastest airplanes down low, which is partly what made the A-36 such a great aircraft. ...

Is your HD failing? Just curious. I get that every now and then, but that's because I have FS on an extenral HD (Firewire, I don't have USB 2.0) and sometimes the drive locks up when I'm trnasfering files or installing new ones and have to reboot the drive.

I just went through Ito's file and modified the flaps and the pitch settings with the flaps to get a little better performance. Here is what I have (I think I just modified the first set, but here's both JIC): [Flaps.0] type= 1 span-outboard= 0.95 extending-time= 3 //15 system_type= 1 damaging-speed...

Who said modeling for FS9 and helping out the warbird community while doing it doesn't have it's perks?

That's one of those times in your life where you take in every second as if it was an hour to make the experience last.

Pearson field has been one of my favorite places to take screenshots in FS9 now. There is just something cool about an airfield modeled so well they even included the Dandelions that makes it ideal for pics. Needless to say, I've been flying between Portland and Tongass/Misty fjords & Gl...

I have alot of the France VFR sceneries. They usually end up being the background in most of my "high quality" screenshots for great environmental back grounds. The only "other" sceneries I usually use for photos are Geo-Render Alaska and VOZ. For airports, the best for me are Fl...

Best Freeware: Rick's HS.748, New Chipmunk and KO's F-86. Best Payware: My vote would go to the PD Spit.XVI, but I'm biased, obviously, so I have to pick something else. That would be the Cloud9 F-4 Phantom and a shout out to the shareware version of the Coral F-15 since it includes the two seater ...

I'll just list my favorite add-ons. Aerosoft's Beaver. A great rugged STOL that I can fly to just about any airfield. And Cape Kennedy. I gotta have my NASA stuff :) Carenado's T-34. I just really like it and I also have a alot of their other planes, but the Cherokee and the C-182RG are the other tw...
