I bought the Hampden for FS9 from AlphaSim as soon as it came out and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't use VCs and I was quite happy with the 2d cockpit. I was also impressed enough with the sound that I never searched for something better. I'm glad to see Virtavia is selling her now.

Re: Premaircraft BAe 146
PAD aircraft have never been among my favorites. Why, I don't know. But their 146 is truly outstanding and I'll be flying her a lot. Thanks, PAD, for a WINNER!

Re: Douglas DC-4 (Freeware)
My installation shows v2.1 and dated 3.15.08. I always add the version number and date to the file so I can quickly see if an update really is or isn't.

Re: Wanting a Catalina
I have the Cats from both AlphaSim and Abacus and both are very nice. I prefer AlpaSim's Cat because it's not a faired-over civilian version, but that's mostly a matter of taste. I've been quite happy with AlpaSim's version and only bought the one from Abacas out of curiousity. AlpaSim's Cat is the ...

Re: A Payware visitor...
Thanks for the posting, Mr. McCleland. :xdeer: I've not been following this aircraft, but you've piqued my interest. I'm looking forward to your flight 'reports', especially since "the panel may be a bit basic for me" since I'm not into highly involved procedures. I'm not much more than a "kick the ...

Golden Age Simulation's NEW Stearman
G.A.S. released their new masterpiece: Boeing's Stearman! Price: $24.95 USD and there's an FS9 and FSX version. IMHO, G.A.S. has outdone themselves with this bird. Appearance and flight characteristics are first rate. The sound pack is excellent and the VC is superb. I'm a 2D fan, and there is NO 2D ...

Thanks for the HU, Bob. VERY nice aircraft; she's already become one of my favorites.

Re: Fiat G.12
I'm a 2D panel fan, most of the time, so I substituted one of the Savoia Marchetti panels and everything works great.
I really like this aircraft, most of all how she handles. She's supposed to be sluggish and that's how she handles. Definitely a HUGE winner (not counting the price).

Re: New Cub coming up
That would be wonderful news except I suspect it's to be for FsX only and I'm still an FS9 fan. We shall see.

Re: New Carenado Piper Seneca Coming Soon!!!!
I quite agree with Paul K: A OLD Cessna 208 would be an excellent addition to the flight sim world. I have maybe 20 hours in type.
