Re: de Havilland DH114 Heron

Del,

Another one with bags of character - looking bl**dy good. Let's hope you master FSX before your head breaks ;-)

Cheers,
Chris

Re: Bristol 171 Sycamore in the works

Rick,

This looks superb already! I like a model with a bit of character - bumpy bits and exhaust marks etc (before anyone else gets in first - perhaps a bit like Kate Moss eh!).

Cheers,
Chris

Re: de havilland DH98 Mosquito

It looks lovely Dave and Del. So you're not going to leave it in the FROG like primary colours then? ;-) At least with this version you don't have to worry about getting the gun barrels to stay straight!

Donationware seems a good idea.

Cheers,
Chris

Re: 101 Merlin to be included in FSX expansion pack........

Apparently a working aircraft carrier is also to be included - proper cat launches and traps! Perhaps we don't need FD4 after all (would be good news if tr...

I liked the bit about "built in safety and economy" for the Lightning - what were they trying to sell? ...and who were they trying to kid?

Hi Derek, Snap! But Harrogate (also in the mid 70s) not the dreaded Catterick (although I did spend time there on various courses). Otterburn - what a lovely place, particularly in mid Jan! Hi Ralph, Re your query as to what is the difference between a Wireless Telegraphist and a Radio Telegraphist ...

Very nice - good tasteful paintjob too. Mines a Specialized Rockhopper (A2 I think - got to go to the garage to look) but with a bit of numpty blue - doesn't look serious enough if you ask me. Although the disc brakes did save my skin when confronted by a car filling the whole of the available road ...
