Re: P3DV4.5

Update: I had been reading a post on the ORBX forum by John Venema, Orbx CEO titled "TEGB South P3Dv4.4 - settings for smooth performance at 4K" where he shows his settings where he is getting good performance, so I tried playing with the settings and finally found the key to getting good performanc...

Re: P3DV4.5

After re-downloading and installing TE-GBS, I took it for a few test flights. First two started at EGLC and headed toward the city center and then turned north. its defiantly better than before, but over central London it gets a bit bogged down, fps usually in the low to mid teens on my system and t...

Re: P3DV4.5

I gave it a try last night with Nigel's AVRO 621 Tutor flying over central London with Orbx England installed, definitely improved, frame rates were 50-100% better than before. Have not tried with TrueEarth South yet (which was unusable before) but will report back when I do.

Re: Orbx Sale

Aharon the only problem I have with orbx scenery is once you start buying it, its hard to stop until after you have spent more money that you really wanted. I started with orbx global and vector and they are a huge improvement over the base scenery, and they have lots of freeware airports you can ad...

Re: Do You Want To Break This Record In Real Life or on FSX?

If you really want to try this in a sim you would need to lock yourself in a small room to simulate being stuck in a small cabin for 64 days. The real test is could you stay there long enough before they come and take you away to the small room with the padded walls.

Re: EGPB Sumburgh Airport

Since the header for this forum says A dedicated area to post on your favourite 'Classic' non-British freeware flightsim aircraft. It does not qualify for this area either. Since we don't have a scenery section I would say the CBFS Forum would be better as I think it's safe to expand 'freeware aircr...
