Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Ok I did some re-organization of the L-188 routes. Nottingham/EGNX is now the official base for all Electra operations. This is what I did: All Coventry routes have been shifted to Nottingham (unless they were duplicate in which case they were deleted). I removed most of the extra routes that I adde...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

There's currently nobody type rated on the Belfast, I flew all the routes over a year ago but the flight model was horrible so I let that one lapse. Well, I have a rating for it, few it a few times over the summer using the Virtavia freeware model that was released two years ago, the flight model d...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

I was looking on the FSA forum, it seams the number of packages is some how tied to the number of arrivals at the airport and we have not had any arrivals at Coventry since last January. I would have no trouble if we declare Nottingham the L188 main base. But the routes are a bit disjointed. The air...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

When I moved the last 188 from Coventry I added some tr routes to stansed but maybe Birmingham would be a better base, if there is no objection I will shift the Coventry operations to Birmingham and add enough connecting routes so you can easily get to the different parts of the network. Compared to...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Can I have a tr. for the Lockheed L188 Electra please Dale Done, I have been moving a few L-188's to Kemble for storage. I am not sure how the routes for it were setup but they seem a bit chaotic to me. It looks like Coventry was intended to be the main base but it's a bit remote to be a good cargo...

Re: Wrong Airport

As its a training flight it has not real repercussions, but if you don't want the on the record at all you can just asked for it to be reviewed.

Re: The things you see whilst flying.

I was wondering if this was just in the new Orbx TE-GBS (That I uninstalled) or was it in the older Orbx England pack, so I tried to find it, and here it is. https://www.fsairlines.net/private/longman.jpg I left the GPS coordinates in the top of the screen in case anybody else had trouble finding it...

Re: Our fleets : Comments please

As far as those far flung bases are concerned I think we have connecting routes now but then, who would want to fly a trident all the way from Britain to China just to fly those routes. We should find some place to park them then where somebody has a maintenance center with reasonable rates.

Re: Our fleets : Comments please

Hello All, I have been doing some work on this project and have come up with a proposal on how many aircraft we should transfer out of our normal fleets and into the mothball fleet, which can be found in this google spread sheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V4vkf8t5zsUx0DPd3DXoN-CenmXaPg...

HMS Victory

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/attachment.php?attachmentid=71415&d=1568345516 Milton Shupe over at the sim outhouse has produced a FSX/P3D compatible version of HMS Victory. Most certainly a British Classic. You can read about it here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/116...
