Just Flight HS748
Hello everyone Since Rick Piper's great 748, I'd given up hope that another solid version would ever be created for FS again. Glad to see that JF are doing one, but keen on thoughts from contributors here about what you think this new version might be like - or not be like. I haven't tried any of th...

Yes, DCS World and FC before it can be quite addictive. Eric, I've put together a short video for you, to show you how to make a quick free-flight mission using the editor. You can find it on YouTube, here: http://youtu.be/hsYqjgWGhlE Have fun! :) PS - email from DCS came: We have a couple "go...

Re: More DCS goodies are a-coming
Thanks so much! I'll give it a whirl tonight. I think I need to put the DCS manual on my ipad and read it on the tube into and from work  I'll let you know how I get on. (I still havent been back to P3D). I think the only thing that might tempt me back anytime soon is Carenado's Hawker 850 Chee...

Re: More DCS goodies are a-coming
Spotted a YT tutorial video for the UH-1H start-up that you might find useful: http://youtu.be/tEweoCnIuPc To be honest, it's so long since I flew it, I can't remember if it was that difficult to start or not, but there are lots of useful videos in general on YT, for all of the DCS modules and edit...

Re: More DCS goodies are a-coming
John Thanks for the paints link I quickly had to unlearn the 'bad habits' of FSX heli flying. It takes alot more discpline to fly this properly, but boy, it was fun. I only crashed on two of my three landings  T/O is interesting...i love the rudder correction you need to apply. I whipped up and...

Re: More DCS goodies are a-coming
LOL, that's hilarious I started from the 'hot start' option and did as careful a take-off as i could. I tore around the airfield for a while doing steep turns, loops and low passes, just to see how she handles. Pretty amazing. This was the free one. Tonight though, I'm going to get the Huey. I've wa...

Re: More DCS goodies are a-coming
I'm not interested in the FW190 either although the P-51, which I flew yestedray for the first time, is great. UK classics of the prop variety will be awesome in an appropriate theatre of operations.
