I think he was taking issue with what Leif said, rather than you, Paul.Paul K wrote:I was not attempting to do any such thing. I said the fact that they were practising for an airshow brought the B-52 accident to mind.

Thanks everyone! Was at RIAT over the weekend, so the early starts meant any celebrations were kept to a minimum (i.e. there was none). Will have to make up for that tonight!

Consider me a very happy bunny if there's ever an FSX conversion!
And even if there isn't, that looks like a fine model. I admire the wide range of variants in the pipeline, too.

Re: Treescapes UK
The price is what's stopping me from buying it, too. Doesn't sit well with me that I will have spent well over £100 on just getting the UK to look right (UK2000 and GenX, plus Treescapes on top of that), and even then, there won't be autogen buildings. Re: Canberra Smoke
Some of the earlier Jet were not too bad until Water/Meth was pumped in so perhaps that accounts for the varying amount of smoke *-) I have no idea which if any of these types used it :dunno: Does seem to be that way. Venoms, Vampires and Meteors don't leave much, if anything behind them. It's only...

Re: Canberra Smoke
Don't recall Hunters being particularly smoky, also using Avons. Very clean compared to some of the engines of the time - Conways , Speys , Olympuses (Olympii? :worried:), and yes, certainly compared to some of the American equivalents like the J47 , J79 and TF33 . The video with the PR9 taking off ...

Alright, it'd be nice to fly a native FSX Jag that doesn't trace its routes back to FS2002!
