No, my HD was not heavily fragmented but I do download, try and uninstall programs.

FS is definately running better, I've started moving sliders to the max now :dance:

Things seem to have settled, I've seen nearly a 50% improvement in frame rates. But FS2004 takes upto 14 seconds from clicking the desktop icon to being able to create a flight, a tad too long I thought. I'm currently trying this, but now have a few errors on my system.

Now installed and registry cleaned, PC now takes twice as long to boot up, off to defag now.....................
