Re: New DX9c out and WOW what a difference!

It's odd that some are seeing vast improvements (like me) and others are not. I have been watching similar threads on other forums and they all seem to be reporting the same, some good and some no different. I guess it must be CPU/GFX related somewhere. Incidentally the DX9c build appears to be upda...

Re: New DX9c out and WOW what a difference!

Hmmm....looks like Vista and DX10 displays a lot less info and has fewer tabs than I see in XP.

Re: New DX9c out and WOW what a difference!

It's a DX9c update Tony not a DX10 update so it may not change the report in Vista as that expects DX10. For me DXDIAG shows me at version 4.09.0000.0904 in XP.

Re: Next From Skysim!

DROOL!!! My critical eye (partly due to being a former UK college lecturer teaching video making techniques) makes me think this video was actually shot in wide screen format and then 'shrunk' to fit a standard 4:3 format. For some reason all the VC gauges look egg shaped and the AC looks foreshorte...

Re: New DX9c out and WOW what a difference!

Help Please! I have just downloaded the new DX9C file from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... lang=en&tm And was following through with installation when I came upon a blank entry box enquiring where the new DX9C file was to be installed. I thought that the installation process was fully a...

Re: New DX9c out and WOW what a difference!

I just tested in FS9 and my CBFS birds (Andover, Chippie, JP, Hunter, etc.) are all showing at mid 60's FPS as are most of my other AC including complex choppers. :welldone:

Re: Even more online fun......! ! !

It was great fun both flying with and meeting you guys for the first time. As far as embarrassment goes ,OK, I will admit that I was the pilot of the black Chippie! :$ :@ I had forgotten how sensitive she was to the brakes (no brake axis here, just buttons) and I held the brakes on for just a fracti...
