Re: New Lancaster due next month....
I thought the model looked all wrong too but then was surprised how deep the cockpit it, and how slopey the nose is on a real lanc. http://www.zap16.com/zapnew/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/lancaster-pa474-may07-02.jpg BTW I didn't think it was necessary to hold the tail down during engine runups, or d...
Re: Intercept
Hey, that's a very nice Hunter repaint.
What's the drone aircraft? I'm not familier with that. Is it available for FSX?
Thanks,
Ted.

Re: XH558 - RIAT 09 (Video)
I watched her takeoff on the Sunday. Pretty astounding. Was it a wingover at the top? Looked almost inverted.
Not as loud as I remember from North Weald days but I guess they are trying to preserve her.

Re: Thank You Mr. Russell
The aircraft I saw were in storage, or ready for scrappage.
I think evergreen was used as storage facility for unwanted airliners.
I'll see if I have some pictures of the facility.

Re: Thank You Mr. Russell
I was in Arizona, place called Evergreen Aviation, about 15 years ago.
They had several Braniff aircraft, possibly 1-11's. One brown, one dark blue.
Didn't take any pictures as not into airliners. They also had the ex airworthy Biggin Hill P38 in bits being restored.
Wonder what happened to that?
