DaveG wrote: 24 Nov 2017, 18:29 Interesting choice. TSR2 on the back burner again then?
Yes I've lost interest in the TSR2 once again!
The Cougar, on the other hand, I find very interesting.
A few different models to consider, all with hooks!
Lots of re-paint possibilities.
And its a little bit British!

Re: Card Fraud

Had the same call myself, yesterday Ben. Last used the card to renew LM subscription. Same thing happened a year ago after doing the same thing. It seems that there has been no suspicions activity on my account, its just some sort of precaution. Another funny thing is that they used my mobile to con...

Re: HU, Fairey Barracuda

Yes, I tried it in v4 just after I made the original post. The screenshot I added later is from v4. :) Not tried a carrier landing yet. :worried: Taildraggers are sometimes a pain when it comes to carriers but to my surprise the Barracuda hooks up nicely I have had some problems with the catapult l...

Re: HU, Fairey Barracuda

“Eye of the beholder” and all that, Mike.
It was a much better aircraft than it is given credit for.
It was made in larger numbers and sank more enemy shipping tonnage than any other FAA aircraft, before or since.

Re: Sad News

Very sad and sudden news indeed.
To me ,and I would suggest most visitors here, Dave was the knowledgeable voice of CBFS.

Re: What's Rob Richardson up to?

Charging money!! Wash your mouth out Rob  I don't think you actually NEED FSX to make a P3D model compatible Rob.. a copy of the P3Dv1 SDK is (I understand) sufficient. Any new P3D model will crash FSX in an instant but a new model compiled with the P3Dv1 SDK won't. Rick and DG have been doing...

Re: What's Rob Richardson up to?

Uninstalled FSX some time ago as P3D has everything, and more, that I want.
Blender has tools for both sims but my setup is P3Dv4 only.
Now if I were charging money (unlikely) that would probably be a different matter.

Re: Prepard3D v4

Java (I think), just installed the Net version, working OK.
I have found that it does not work every time P3D is started, it still runs in the background though but will not start.
I saved a flight with carriers showing and that seems to work each time.
No idea what's happening there!

Re: Prepard3D v4

This really is very good indeed. Not found anything that doesn't work yet, Horizon, AI carriers, UK 2000 airports, all working just fine!
All the add on aircraft that I own seem to work as they should.

Re: What's Rob Richardson up to?

Progress has been very slow of late Brian. Been spending a lot of time riding my bike in preparation for the “Tour of Cambridgeshire” cycle event next week http://www.golazocycling.com/Tour_of_Cambridgeshire/Tour_of_Cambridgeshire_Cycling_Festival_UK.php Also I’ve been waiting to see what P3D 4 has ...
