Re: RTW Leg10 (almost!)...
I hate when that happens to me, I forget to switch over before the current tanks run out and even though I switch over I can never get the engines going again before something bad happens. I did finally try editing the route in the flight planner, you just have to drag the route to a 'point' on the ...

Re: RTW Leg10 (almost!)...
Oh no, tragic ending to a great flight. You're not going to start again from near where the last flight 'ended'?
Great pics by the way.

Re: New PC
Hardware has moved on so much, I'd not know where to start. One thing though.. should you ever consider going to P3D, I'd look at a 4gb rather than a 2gb card :cpu: ATB DaveB B)smk Agree completely, about 4+ years ago I upgraded to a high end gaming laptop and skimped on the video card, getting a 2...

Re: ORBIX FTX Base on sale
Sorry Joe, don't have an answer for you. I tried it with the same configuration you described and only problem I had is that FTX Central did not recognise the P3D folder, it did not crash.

Joystick Flap Axis
Just a small issue. I have been trying to program one of the leavers on my joystick to be the flaps axis, and it kinda works but only seams to go from 25% flaps to 75% flaps and I don't know if anyone else has any experience with it. I finally got my hands on a saitek USB throttle quadrant and was l...

Re: ORBIX FTX Base on sale
Joe, are you running p3d 3.3 or 3.4, I had problems with 3.4 but worked ok with 3.3, but then it just failed to recognise it and did not crash. To be honest, I have no advice except download a fresh copy and re-install in a fresh location.

Re: New PC
If you want to recycle your memory and you have at least 8gb then that's not a bad idea. FSX is very CPU intensive but not very GPU intensive so you don't have to go nuts there, a latest generation i5 or i7 should be plenty fast for FSX. If you ever plan on trying P3D then go for the top end video c...

That sounds fine with me, I would rather have a functioning panel than anything else!Rick Piper wrote:VC has no crew seats or columns currently and pax area is basic layout.
99% of animated gauges work correctly as does Autopilot , Nav & Radios.

Re: Orbx & Paypal
I have always preferred on line payments using paypal, I would rather send the seller a specific amount of money rather than giving them my card number and hope they pull the right amount, and only use it once. Granted I use online credit cards a lot, but when I have the choice, I use paypal. I used...
