I was reading about a nurse who has been looking after COVID patients in ICU in an American hospital on the West coast; she told the story of a COVID denier being admitted and of him being very ill and near death at one point....

Then again - I had to recover a suit from the local charity shop once Wife Mk1 had assumed that it was due replacement but chose the NEW suit not the old knackered one.

Had a home made lasagne for Christmas lunch. Can't see the point of lashing out for turkey etc for the two of us. Family all over the world and even those in the UK are either too far off or - nowadays - in lockdown. Christmas is a family event otherwise it is just another Bank Holiday with rubbish ...

Just "wasted" half an hour watching trains on my PC. Beats the heck out of standing on cold platforms as I did in my youth, so much more civilised.
