Re: FSX native Lockheed Electra

I hope it gets sorted out as I flew in an Ansett-ANA one when I was 9, and wouldn't mind recreating that flight. Nice looking aircraft, the Electra.

Re: New Lancaster due next month....

I think you should definitely buy it Tony, then post a load of screenshots so that we can then decide not to buy it and save our money. It would cost you, but you would earn our undying thanks and admiration in the process. ;-)

Re: New Lancaster due next month....

It'd be interesting to see some screenies if you do get it, Tony. I'm going to hold off and see what, if anything, emerges from A2A and Plane Design: the latter particularly as a Lancastrian could follow.

Re: New Lancaster due next month....

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m115/Geomitrak/lancaster3.jpg On this one, the canopy proportions look a bit better, but then the nose turret looks too angular and small compared to the bomb-aimers bubble. I'm sure all this must be a case of distortion due to the viewing angle. I've noticed it b...

Re: New Lancaster due next month....

The canopy doesn't look quite right to me either..definitely a bit tall, and seems to get wider bottom to top in one of those shots. I'll wait to see more screenies, because I know certain things can get distorted when seen from one specific angle, yet will be spot-on from every other angle. By the ...

Great stuff! They would have had to have paid for their parachutes if they'd left them behind ? Seriously ?

Re: Whats your spec and does it work for you?

Joney, it was the 'run in sync' phrase that made me sit up. Certainly, I wouldn't buy an Core i7 system with the intention of fitting my old Nvidia Geforce 6600, but I was wondering if there is some industry standard that both CPU and graphics card have to comply with , in order to ensure they run i...

Re: Whats your spec and does it work for you?

Especially interested in their chosen GFX cards. Thats one of the main decisions I have to make. I suppose it has to run in sync with the CPU and neither should bottleneck one another. Wait a minute, wait a minute...what does that mean ? Is that something I need to know about as I ponder the specs ...
