Re: Some fantastic images can be found here

John, Thanks for the advice, my apologies, I wasn't trying to "reserve" either scheme - I'm sure you'd do a much better job on them. Anyway I'll batter on with the Air Luton one for starters and post the progress shots as I go - together with sundry questions. I had PSP5 before but since I...

Re: Some fantastic images can be found here

Isn't that a Miles Aerovan (or some such)? If so there is a model for fs9 - with a Rob Walker Racing Cooper in the back IIRC. Mind you anything that slows down John's warp factor dash through British DC-3s might give us snail pace crayoners a half chance. I did have a look at the Westpoint sch...

Re: Brabazon released on avsim etc.

Many thanks, yet again Jens. Stately progression is the nature of this magnificent beast. Or have you managed to fix the Brabazon and make the fsim globe rotate under it? :) I can't remember if the last remaining section of the Brabazon fuselage is still on the wall at Old Warden. I remember that th...

Re: Speeding in N England!!

Last time I checked North Berwick was significantly North of North England.

Cue intemperate raging/ranting/flames/bans/nuclear war? Oh sorry that's "another place".

I'm rich, well as good as or there again........

Well it beats being another Tony, but enough digression. I really feel the need to share my amazing good fortune with you all, and all it will cost you is a measly $32,000..wait, come back you need to hear this, 'cos I can only share it with a chosen few - picked at random out of a phone book that I...

Re: Fingerpainting by numbers

Fairy 'Nuff as they say in panto circles. I may play around on a non-distributory basis with a couple of these as a learning exercise as you say. One scheme that I have a single image of is a Hunting Surveys DC-3 taken from the left rear. This seems to have a logo on the nose, but no other picture h...

Re: Fingerpainting by numbers

Right step 1 in the search for a British cover plane for the colonial job - find something to paint! After much digging through sundry books and web searches, I have one very simple DC-3 scheme for G-AIWE that is in the back of the British Civil Vol II by AJ Jackson. But I can only find a b&w pi...

Fingerpainting by numbers

I thought I should stop hijacking John's topic and start the ramblings of a paint by pixels newbie. Now that John has shown me it can be done, I'll start my own attempt at a swoopy scheme from the colonies on the two Daks, and as a cunning cover plan to keep within the CB frame of reference, I was t...

Re: Starways DC-3's

Thanks for the encouragement guys. The journey to the Star...ways starts with a single pixel, glasshopper, as Master Po would have said. That shows my age, but at least I'm none too gradually getting the hairstyle. Looks like a few gallons of pure pixellate gloss are on the shopping list. Hmm, SWMBO...
