Re: An old friend in dire need
I am one of the SOH members that donated. Since I joined their forum in 2005, I have had many discussions on their forum and have downloaded many files from their server. Consequently, I never hesitate to donate annually for maintenance of their servers or software. Over time one gets to know some o...

Re: FS9 Problem Frozen selection screen
I seem to recall that a black frozen screen was related to some graphic settings or driver issues in FS9. Ah.. now I remember. I had the same issue recently when I installed FS9 under Windows 8. Switching the windows mode (Alt-Enter) was the only way I could view the aircraft and get ride of the bla...

Re: FS9 Problem Frozen selection screen
The easiest suggestion I have is to find and delete your fs9.cfg. When you restart FS9, it should rebuild the fs9.cfg. A situation like you described is possible if fs9.cfg is trying to load a default flight with an aircraft with a corrupt gauge or model. Installing the F-111 should not cause a free...

Thanks for posting the collections. I spent a good part of the day looking at as many as possible using the slideshow feature.VC10 wrote:You're welcome Garry.
I've got to say I am surprise at the apparent lack of interest shown here for these collections.

Re: Cloud 9 Phantom
Thomas, I have all the Cloud9, IRIS and Alpha Phantom sets for FS9 and I hightly recommend the Cloud9 version. Each has a variety of specific models, but the Cloud9 has the most immersive 2D and VC cockpits (my opinion). Sounds are great and lots of repaints out there. The IRIS/DSB version does, how...
