Hi Angus, I don't know if this was the link http://billvons.com/imperial_airways/scenery/index.htm There was an attempt to get a virtual Imperial Airways going elsewhere, but it seemed to founder. The routes are very long and the aircraft exceedingly slow, which tends to put follk off. The above sce...

Tragically another legend who made his last public appearance at Goodwood on the Saturday of the Revival. A gentleman whose measured tones defined the word mellifluous (ok I had to check the spelling). I think there was an article that he wrote about having a flight in the second seat of a Jaguar, p...

...or Villeneuve '97 or Hungary '02 or Monaco '06 to name but a few :tuttut: :tuttut: A flawed genius who should have been above his worst excesses. On the bright side young Robert Kubica drove his socks off, in only his third race, to get on the podium with third place after soaking up immense pres...

Yet another tragic loss for Australia in such a short time. I saw him racing the historic Holden FX that had been shipped over for the Goodwood Revival on Saturday, and for which he and his team received the Spirit of Goodwood award on Sunday evening. The award was for the effort made by Peter and t...

I think there is a fs9 one with floats and wheels versions by John Woodward. I can't remember if it only has a vc, but I think someone has also done a 2d panel for us luddite types.

Try all nodes and avsim.

At least one of the older fs2002 models (by Steve Grant??) also works in fs9.

This is the info I was thinking of: "The Hornet was powered by twin Rolls-Royce Merlins, which unlike the Merlins fitted to the Mosquito were "handed", with a "Merlin 130" on one side and a "Merlin 131" on the other, both rated at 1,515 kW (2,030 HP) and fitted wit...

Don't think I've seen too many contra-rotating Merlis either, still G-REAR might oblige if the balloon got caught in a tornado. :k: Bit before my time, but the Hornets spun their Merlins both ways at the same time, as I recall. Could be something to do with the FAA connection! Perhaps Alphasim could...

Buy one, get one free - just the price to go down well round here.

For a guess I thought your first try was a really good one, and in fact is pretty much the lines of the 3 squadron green scheme for the top wing.
