Re: Wrong Service but .........
I made the mistake of continuing on to an item titled(ish) "The 10 worst british aircraft" or similar from a site called Hushkit.net The site is interestingly informative driven by a very dry sense of humour. Titled as The Alternative Aviation Magazine it is well worth a look but be warned...

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict
Wise indeed! Also if you're a subscriber to JFs email newsfeeds there's 20% off their products until November 12th. I got the Hawk for X-Plane and it's a bit of a cracker. Have yet to get TE as my broadband has been playing up but suspect I'll get that this coming weekend. I think I've also persuade...

Re: Birthday wishes to alemaobaiano (59)
As Mike said and a muted happy birthday Tony. At least you have an excuse to award yourself TE South. And there's no reason why It should work as per your other scenery via symbolic link.

Re: What Things Really Annoy You?
I should explain for those that don't use BT services that Openwretch is a reference to Openreach BT's now third party installation and general landline problem solving (or causing) service. To say that they are generally rubbish is doing a disservice even to the stuff that ends up in landfill.

Re: What Things Really Annoy You?
BT (or rather Openwretch) strike again... Another missed engineers appointment today! Having just spent over an hour on the phone to the BT call centre they've managed to extract (after much hard work) a promise from Openwretch to send an engineer on Saturday morning. Well done the call centre - awe...

Re: What Things Really Annoy You?
So, what really annoys me?
Currently BT. I've spent more hours than I would like and will never get back trying to resolve problems with our broadband connection and have been promised engineers that were either the wrong type or didn't turn up as advertised.

Unexpected Noratlas Sighting
Returning through France from Spain to the UK recently we had the unexpected pleasure of seeing a Noratlas being thrown around the sky at a small airfield at Issoire about 30 miles or so South of Clermont-Ferrand. Sadly I was driving so wasn't able to get a photo and although we had a scheduled stop...
