Re: Battle over Hambourg

Really impressive DTR.You must have lots of patience! :) EricT "Patience", that's so often mentioned when folks are looking at a finished project. I don't know about DTR, but for Mrs Airspeed and me, you get involved in doing the thing, and patience doesn't really enter the equation. I'm ...

Re: Battle over Hambourg

Patience? Yes. Patience enforced on me by getting tired after an hour. I'm getting on a bit

Re: Battle over Hambourg

I'm assuming that's your build DTR. You've put a lot of time into that! :welldone: How much space have you allocated for displays, and are the lower Halifaxes scratch built? I still have a cupboard full of unmade kits; I'm worried that when I start, reality won't match my hopes. :worried: If you ha...

That is rather excellent, DTR. Nice to see a Halifax rather than a Lanc in such a diorama. The marker flares are very well done.
I wanted to build something different and the Halifax is often overlooked in favour of the Lanc.

Battle over Hamburg

Revell 1/72 RCAF Halifax MkIII "Hells Fire" pursued by 1/72 Italeri Me110G. Aircraft are motorised using micro motors. Base is illuminated and animated with sounds from a Lancaster crew engaging night fighters over the target. TI's are illuminated by pressing an actual Lancaster bomb relea...

TFC to cease Flying Legends at Duxford.

TFC have announced that Flying Legends will no longer be hosted at Duxford.
Are we seeing a general decline in UK airshows?

Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions

Sounds like a nice sim. Have to wait for VR support.
Once you go non-flat you can't go back.

What versions has everyone plumped for? Because of the extra features I'm looking at getting the full monty.

Re: Which Version of MS2020 Would You Buy?

I've waited umpteen years for FS2020. I'll wait a few more for the bugs to be ironed out.
I will purchase whatever version will give me stable game play using VR. No VR then I'm out.
