Re: Another Virus Victim
Did not have too much planned for today and needing to get out for a little while,I decided to pop down to the little airport at the bottom of the road. Here a few of the images of the quenns that I could get given the fence and trees around the BA base. Finally had a surprise when I got home and ha...

Boeing 757 missing route
Hi guys,
Just been looking at the 757 routes page and it would appear that CNB8522 EGLL - LIRP has no return flight or way of getting back out of Pisa.

Re: Another Virus Victim
I have been led to believe that at least three have been confirmed by BA as going to Kemble for parts salvage and recycling! As to the 747-8 I don't think the order book has been very full and apart from Lufthansa with 19 would appear to have been bought mainly by the Eastern Airlines, Korea 17, Cat...

Re: Another Virus Victim
Yeah Ben, I was never a massive fan either until I flew in one. Also as I get older and with FSX showing it's age I have had to branch out into slightly more modern aircraft than VC10s, Viscounts and Comets etc. To this end I have found myself getting quite interested in 737-200, 727, 757 and 767, t...

Re: Another Virus Victim
Ben, Just to add to the confusion I decided to drive around the Perimeter Road earlier as I had to get some shopping. I know that articles etc cannot be trusted but I counted 8 BA 747s that I could see all parked around the back of their maintenance base, I also bumped into a guy who I know who work...

Re: Another Virus Victim
Oh well, Thanks for that Ben.
It is a shame as I read yesterday that there were 7 left at LHR although I do know that they have been slowly moving some to South Wales for storage over the last few weeks!

Re: Another Virus Victim
Very sad news indeed on all counts, so many future classics going out without fanare, I suppose we must honour them with flights in Sim. As to disposals and ferry flights, are there any sites that publish either official info or reliable gen regarding the movement of these aircraft. As i live only a...
