Classic aircraft and MSFS
Having been away from the forum for some time I was wondering if there is any prospect of classics from previous versions - ACOF, FSX etc. - being available in MSFS or is it a forlorn hope?

Re: FSACOF - reborn!
Thanks Airspeed.
That sounds like an excellent idea regarding sounds. How does that work exactly if you don't me asking?

FSACOF - reborn!
A little while back I posted on here about not being able to get FS9 loaded on my Windows7 desktop or Windows10 laptop and in the end more or less gave up despite a number of much appreciated offers of help. However I have an old Vista desktop with FS9 on and to cut a long story short have been able...

Re: FSX and aircraft designed for FS2004.
That's interesting. I'm only really interested in the old stuff so to be able to fly some classics in FS2020 will be fab, apart from the present day scenery of course. Can't have everything I suppose.

FSX and aircraft designed for FS2004.
Before I buy FS2020 I would like to fly Dave Maltby's and other models in FSX. I have given up on ACOF despite the best efforts of numerous members of this forum. How easy is it and what should I be aware of?

FS2020
Not sure if this has already been asked but does anyone know if it will be possible to add freeware from FS2004 and FSX to FS2020? Would love to fly the likes of VC10 in the new sim.

Re: P3D or X Plane
I suppose the question is do you have any addons. Payware or otherwise for FSX that you want to keep using? Or are you happy starting from zero and downloading or buying everything from scratch? Is there any aircraft that you particularly want to fly? VC10, 707, Vanguard, Comet - you get the pictur...

Re: P3D or X Plane
Thanks for all the input chaps. I like the old stuff really, 1960 - 1980 I suppose. If I go for P3D will I be able to fly FS2004 and FSX compatible aircraft?

P3D or X Plane
Having given up trying to install FS2004 and while waiting for FS2020 I'm thinking of investing in either P3D or X-Plane 11. Has anyone got a view either way and also what are the requirements for the purchase of the former? It seems like I need to buy a licence. Is that correct?

Re: Problem running FS9
Thanks Keith. So do I find these updates and remove them? If so, where/how do I find them?
