Re: Get out of that one...

No worries, Keith, ;) Like my signature says - I don't know much...(but that topic is one of the few things I do know). I had high hopes when I was in 14F Squadron. My best friend and I joined up together. His parents were Polish, and there was a number of Polish squadrons based at Northolt du...

Re: All our yesterdays...

Re: Fokker F27

Hi Ben :hello:
According to my search just now, there are no currently registered UK F27s. There's a list of 82 which have been deregistered, some with photos, including one at least ex Air UK.
Sounds like your sighting may be there to stay?

Re: Get out of that one...

Re: Get out of that one...

......It must have been after 1966 as I remember faintly the incident & I was working in Southall on the 'Brain drain' job. Keith Well Keith, unless there was another one after I left, I would have to disagree with the year. I saw it live, and I was in Australia by January 1964. [see near miss ...

Thank you John,
There's another cool fact to impress the younger generation with.

Good point Keith, it could have been like "Tower", but you stand on the platform waving flags and blowing whistles for locomotives. :agree:

Re: Best update notes ever....

You've intrigued me, John; what "alpha" game is that?
And 'scuse my ignorance, but do they release "alphas" before they put up the "beta" version? Or am I WAAAY off track?
