One thing I worry about the payware packages is that sometimes they are a little too realistic, I never cared for going through pages of instructions just to start the engines. Well the DF model in particular has very realistic systems on it, but (depending on how much you already know and how quic...

Modern Art is a load of b*llocks - if it doesn't involve talent and skill it's not art. I would love to be at the opening of a large "modern art" project one day, so that when the "artist" is talking their usual crap about how it "challenges" perceptions (or in other wo...

Well I always use 2D panels 100% of the time in larger aircraft (i.e. DF 727, PMDG stuff) because the VCs in these aircraft murder framerates and don't look as good as a quality 2D panel anyway I think. But in smaller aircraft (DM's 1-11 or smaller, HS748 and all GA stuff) I use the VC, because it s...

I have both the Captain Sim and Dreamfleet efforts, and used to have the Vistaliners and Vans models too. If you want a free one, then use the Vistaliners 727 and Richard Probst's panel, otherwise I would recommend the Dreamfleet 727. The Captain Sim 727 is good (especially the Just Flight-published...

Well I can't think of anything suitable but I have to say that just looking at that fat, ugly sh*t of an aeroplane almost makes me feel like doing what that man looks to be contemplating - i.e. jumping from somewhere high!

It makes me so sad when I hear of motorists whose driving is so deliberately reckless, incompetent and dangerous (and they know it too), getting off with such light sentences. And then I look at all the people who have been punished so much harder for so much less - some of the poor pilots who have ...

Failing that, you will find me wishing for a trident. the most beautiful airliner ever built. Despite the fact it also hasthe ugliest undercarrage ever put on an airliner  I agree with the undercarriage but nothing beats the VC10 for looks. That aircraft has it all like no other aircraft has ...
