Howdy!

Hey folks, thought I'd stop by and let you know I'm still alive. Been a while since I was able to log a flight, and might be a bit more yet. Had a few health issues that have slowed me down some but starting to get back to normal. We're also in the midst of packing house for a move at the end of thi...

Just waiting for them to get around to replying to my service ticket. Could take a while.

Re: Longest 748 flight yet

Landor happens to be my favorite BA scheme of all. Very classy and elegant. Then again I tend to favor more structured liveries, like the Delta Widget or Eastern Airlines (US).

Re: Present day train simulators

I'll have to wait for Steam to reply to the nasty-gram I sent via support. Right now I would have to purchase RW2 outright, and while it's only $40 that's $40 more than I have to spend on games at the moment.

Longest 748 flight yet

Yesterday I decided to fly CBFS7002, Gatwick to Lourdes (LFBT). Turned out to be a very nice, pleasantly boring flight. Takeoff and landing were a bit more interesting since both ends were in total VFR conditions. As a result I wasn't able to get any usable pics except during the middle of the fligh...

Re: Present day train simulators

Well, I was going to redownload and reinstall RW since I purchased it on Steam a while back - but lo and behold, it seems that RW1 is no longer available from their content servers. Imagine that, a game that I paid hard-to-come-by money for (I live on Social Security Disability) removed from my acco...

Re: Don't Forget the Clocks........

Daylight Savings Time was a good idea when it was put in place, saved money for the war effort. Today it actually costs more money than it saves. Time for an old, outdated institution to go the way of the dodo.

And to think I complain about the drivers here in Southern California. Sheesh.
