Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions
Think I'm ready to shell out for a second M2 drive to install 2020 on I had the beta installed on a standard HDD and it struggled to keep up when the scenery got a bit intense. I didn't want to share the same M2 drive as P3d and I won't be ditching P3d just yet. The desire in the community to get le...

Re: Orbx in P3dV5
If you log into Orbx central, if I remember right, under my products, there are now tabs. If you click on P3d v5 tab, it will take you to your products where you can install into V5. You need a separate install for each sim version.

Re: FSX and aircraft designed for FS2004.
There is definitely no way to drag and drop aircraft from FSX into FS2020. Hope I didn't give the impression there was Ben I saw from the beta that the air file is not there anymore and the Aircraft config has become fragmented. Not sure if the new config files replace the air file or the flight dy...

Re: FSX and aircraft designed for FS2004.
David's 1-11 has been recompiled to native Fsx (with his permission) There's a much better prospect of it working in 2020 than the FS 9 version https://sites.google.com/site/fsxstuffb ... s/bac-1-11

Re: Which Version of MS2020 Would You Buy?
Quite possibly Nigel. Must admit I was a little disappointed that Chester cathedral is just shown as blue 2d Cross (colour of the roof) whereas the rest of the city is depicted quite well. As Ben said, the housing estates are even the correct brick colour

Re: Which Version of MS2020 Would You Buy?
Nigel, London is fully modeled although not necessarily with the correct building in place. There are discrepancies where 2d Satellite data is not accurately converted into 3d by the AI. Some objects are not understood as a building. Theres no Gerkin, no Nelson's column. Admiralty Arch is spot on, b...
