Re: Embarrassing Posts Shared By Clueless Americans
It would be interesting to see how many of those accounts were even real too. Anymore, with the number of fake accounts out there, you never know.

Re: Embarrassing Posts Shared By Clueless Americans
I think it's just "clueless Twitter Users" if anything considering they're representative of less than 1% of any country's population. Kinda tells you a lot about who uses social media. ;) I do find it funny that they posted @2:23 one of the worst "clap backs" ever. The response ...

Re: A Tricky Problem?
Agree with the above. Also, may just be someone stuck a spare bullet into the casing as it appears to be sitting pretty high in the casing. Pictures I've find of 22-250 shows none of the "flat" of the bullet visible above the neck.

Re: WHY?
Look, I know most of the people on here aren't going to agree with me, so I'm just going to put this here and move along. 1) This is a massive tragedy. There's no ifs, ands, or buts, to it. It shouldn't happen. But we keep blaming the tool as if it has a vote in the matter. The media does a great jo...

Re: MSFS Aircraft list
I got the PMDG 737 because that's what I fly the most and have been happy with where it's at considering the still massive lack of SDK support for some of the most advanced stuff in-sim (since PMDG wants to be mutli-platform). Unlike the fan bois that are slamming PMDG right now because they are faw...

Re: Air France pilots struggle with a Boeing's controls
Yeah, Juan mentions that in his analysis. Also, he makes the point it sounds like a disrupted ILS (the deviation left) and the "stiff controls" were likely because they were fighting the still engaged autopilot (you can hear the AP disconnect horn after the first transmissions). Being star...

Re: Buffalo Airways has bought a jet!
I had the good fortune of getting to know a number of transport crew during my time with the vUSAF many moons ago (they were members) and then later when I was active in the US Warbird community. Some of the stories told of the antics the MAC (and later AMC) crews got into and the kinds of stuff the...

Re: Buffalo Airways has bought a jet!
There was an article many moons ago that made that claim, but it was more of a propaganda piece than actual fact, although it's even less fact today. It really is about fatigue. There are a decent number of C-130s actually already out there flying under Limited certificates. Coulson's C-130Hs are fl...

Re: Buffalo Airways has bought a jet!
Most of the C-130s sitting at Monthan have worn out wing boxes and would require replacement. I'm sure that Mikey looked at getting in on the L-100J that Lockheed offers, but the price is way too high for someone like Buffalo. Maybe one day they'll get one of the L-100s that Lynden or someone simila...

Re: A Very Interesting but Complex Model Update X-Plane for 12
Austin is one of the reasons I've never really glomed onto XPlane. Robert Randazzo used to have much the same attitude as did the late Tom Allensworth, but Robert and Tom both became much better with age. Meanwhile, Austin has stayed the same.
