Very nice shots, Kimber. I think the 748 is essential for anyone's FS aircraft collection.

Looks like it was a great day out, Ben; ideal weather too. That formation of 9 Tornados is something new to me.

Nice shot, Motormouse.

I've reflown some of my Air Training Corps Chipmunk flights using Rick's model, including one over a pre-IWM Duxford and a map reading exercise from RAF Coltishall. It's another of those 'essential' planes for the collection.

I bought the Aerosoft Beaver after asking for recommendations on this forum a good while ago. Its a terrific model and the engine sounds are a treat for the ears. One of my all-time favourite Flight Sim aircraft.

By the way, where are all the 'beaver' jokes this time round ?

but what if 'Just Jane' was funded back to flying condition by the studios ? PaulK, unfortunately I don't think that would ever come about. On a visit last year I asked if there may ever be a chance of it flying again and was told that it was highly unlikely, the costs would be high... Yeah, you're...

Thanks a lot, Rick. I'm not unfamiliar with this 3D modelling business: I used Abacus' Aircraft Factory a few years ago to build a B-29, which wasn't bad given the limit on parts and assemblies you could have in any one model. Now with these tutorials available, and a certain aircraft in my collecti...
