Yep a great day. Flying Legends never ceases to amaze me. This years surprises were three Bristol Fighters in the air in formation, an airworthy Morane-Saulnier M.S.406, two Catalinas ( one of which is the oldest flying PBY in the world and has three confirmed U-Boat sinkings credited to it ), and t...

Yep, thats what I should have said...which air force was it from. I agree, its a pity you didn't get to see it fly. The chances of seeing an F4 in the air are becoming very rare, eh ?

Cheers Dave, I haven't installed it yet but nice to hear its at least passable. I'll be seeing the real thing this coming weekend at Duxford's Flying Legends airshow. Lovely looking aircraft, for sure.

Thanks for that John. I don't normally bother to check whether their freeware library has been updated, so much appreciated. I grabbed the Tigercat...might refly the TFC Tigercat's delivery flight across the pond at some point. Got my first Alphasim payware last night...the Victor and Halifa...

Thanks for the heads-up, Vulcan. If someone had my nether portions in an ever-tightening vice and forced me to adopt the notion of 'my favourite current jet airliner' I have to say the A340 would be first choice. Its quite an elegant plane.

Thanks for all the responses to this, chaps. It looks like it's going to be the Just Flight one, and I'll stick a tenner in the kitty at the 'Vulcan to the Sky' tent at Flying Legends next week anyway. The posts concerning Vulcan accidents are interesting, though very sad. I never knew there...

Vulcan Recommendations anyone ?

I'm torn between the Just Flight and the Phoenix Simulation Vulcans. I'm inclined towards the latter as they donate 50% of the price to 'Vulcan to the Sky' ( thanks Toby for reminding me about this ), but I'd like to hear anyone's views of them if possible.
