I found that for FS9 you need a much bigger upgrade than was the case with earlier FS versions. the other problem I ran into was that the format of cpus has changed so much ( number of pins etc) that to upgrade significa...

Thanks for that link. It is spot on. I'm either imagining a more upright front, or else some other model had a slightly different nose. Lovely pics anyway

Very nice shots. Is the nose of the model accurate - it looks rather pointed to me with the windscreen being laid back more than the real thing - or is it an optical illusion?

Not really much more complicated. You will have to copy the relevant windows to the Panel.cfg file, renumbering them to fit the sequence in the XB70 if necessary, and add such windows to the "index" which is at the top of the file. You will also need to copy to the panel file any panel bit...

In addition to the pressure differential causing flow around the wingtip, there is also a considerable element of spanwise ( i.e outwards along the line of the wing , rather than fore and aft across it) flow which when it reaches the tip tends to detach and add to the vortex, and generate drag as To...

I don't have direct knowledge of this , but I think the usual routing was to the LBA NDB, and then down what was Airway Amber One east to DTY with either a Brookman's Park arrival for what was then RW 26 at EGLL, or Bovingdon arrival for 08

This is more complex than FS 9 perhaps allows for. bear in mind with the York that as power is increased, there will be an inevitable pitch down tendency because, with the high wing , the thrust line is higher than the c.g. This may be the reason for little if any forward column being required to ra...
