Re: FSX Strikes again: My Super VC10 has a hole!
Okay... now this gets silly... I opened up FSPaint (just 'cus it's easy to see the changes as you make them) and I can cover these up with black... but when I use the proper colours they still appear. I tested my black splashed version in FSX and the textures are covered... but when I revert to usin...

Re: FSX Strikes again: My Super VC10 has a hole!
Hello Gary, They look "bleached" because I use the ENB patch that tends to increase the lighting effect - it's rather noticeable when you've got the weather set to sunny day - but using REX on a cloudy day, the sunrises and sunsets are simply so pretty I accept it... As far as the textures...

Re: FSX Strikes again: My Super VC10 has a hole!
I was wondering if it's a resolution thing - stretched out so big things that you normally wouldn't notice will show... I'll try to post a screenshot... gonna have to set up an account somewhere. In the meantime - using your screenshot as a reference, see the blue "points" that come down o...

Re: FSX Strikes again: My Super VC10 has a hole!
Hi Ben, My set-up is the same as yours w.r.t. FSX levels and OS. I went to DM's site to re-download everything, but upon opening the files, I've got the latest. Re-installed anyway, but the dang things are still showing up... You know, they may not be holes, but could possibly be "unpainted&quo...

FSX Strikes again: My Super VC10 has a hole!
Hello all, I've just run into something I've not seen posted - I dug through the files and haven't found any mention of it, so I'm wondering if I've done something wrong... I'm flying around Africa in DM's wonderful VC10 models, and I just loaded a Super for the first time in far too long. As I was ...

Re: Quality Wings 757
An update for anybody else having problems... My Windows 7 downloaded it's latest service pack and the latest C++ executables... and now the QW757 works fine. A bit slow on the framerates (max 15... that's really low for my machine) but far better than the 1 frame/week it was running at before. All ...

Re: Ain't RW weather clever?
...best weather report I've heard was in the Canadian Arctic in October 1981... it went: "Today's forecast: Dark. Continued darkness until sometime in April, when hopefully the sun will return, assuming any of us have avoided freezing to death..." -20 in Sunny Ottawa today... hope the snow...
