Re: Sunderland
I think that must qualify as the worst piece of payware I've ever seen

Re: Isle of wight
I tried it yonks ago when it first came out but found it to heavy on the FPS. The scenery library for it is available on flightsim.com (ukvfr.zip) but I can't find the IOW scenery anywhere. :dunno: A quick google found some forum threads about installing in FSX, but that's not a lot of good if you c...

Re: Hawker Hunter
Thanks for the input Peter
I've never got on with mip-maps, & find aircraft textures are better without them. I guess it's just one of those things

Re: Hawker Hunter
All of 'em! All the Hunter textures that is, don't run the file on anything else.
The batch file will convert the lot automatically.
Don't forget to backup first

Re: Hawker Hunter
OK, try this to make things easier. Download this file: http://daveg.cbfsim.org/files/convert.zip Open the zip and copy the 2 files into the texture folder you want to convert. Run the "Texture Converter.bat"file. Select option 2 Done :) That will convert all the textures in that folder to...

Re: Hawker Hunter
unfortunately, this has been a problem for some people with the FS9 Hunters.
The textures are saved as 32bit for maximum clarity, but that can strain some systems. If you convert the textures to DXT3 it should help.
You can use DXTBMP from here: http://www.fly.to/mwgfx

Re: Double vision default buildings
If I remember correctly, it was available on Horizions web site, however that site has been down for a while now (new site "coming soon!")
It may not be of much use to you unless you use GenX scenery anyway, but I've uploaded my copy here: http://daveg.cbfsim.org/files/london.zip

Re: Double vision default buildings
The default london.bgl has the buildings misplaced. There is a modified version you can download that corrects this. Did you have that in your previous install, as it sounds like you have both active.

Re: Scenery, not showing on new system
You'll want to disable anti-aliasing in FS9, but crank it up in the ATI control panel.

Re: Scenery, not showing on new system
W7 has probably blocked the Uk2000 installer from modifying the scenery.cfg. Try right-clicking the insatller & select "run as administrator"
