FS2004 makeover?
Just wondering what the best products are to give FS2004 a bit of a makeover? I have Ultimate Terrain and Ground Environment loaded but was wondering if there is anything newer or better? Is it worth upgrading to Ground Environment Pro? What about REX for FS2004? Do they offer any significant improv...

Re: advice please?
Thanks Dave. our Flight Sim serves two purposes: Instructional and AEF familiarisation, where we fly low and slow (normally continuous circuits and bumps out of RAF Cosford) and simple VFR nav exercises. The flight model we use is the Grob 109 tutor, with a simplified instrument cluster of the main ...

advice please?

Freeware Environment packages??
After a brief foray to the dark side I have decided to rebuild my FS9 set up… and wonder if anyone could recommend one of the many freeware “environment “ packages available that provide better sky, lighting water runway effects etc?? I have Ground Environment and Ultimate Terrain, along with FS Glo...

Thansk....
my current set up is Athalon 64 dual core 4200 2G RAM and Radeon X1550 Graphics. Not the fastest, but it runs FSX well at resonable stttings and eats FS9 with everthing maxed out

Photographic scenery for FS X
Having seen some impressive screen shots of the Gen X scenery in other posts, I’m tempted to have a dabble as an alternative to my FS9/ultimate terrain/ground environment set up. So please excuse the dumb questions as i have shut FSX out of my mind for a few years.... • Which is the favoured photogr...
