ORBX scenery - total confusion!
I'm now running P3d v5.2 with no problems. I have Orbx's EU England and EU Scotland installed and again, no problems. However I keep seeing on ORBX Central that there is also a TrueEarth Great Britain North, South and Central PLUS there is the Global range. Can anyone explain what all of these are a...

Re: P3DV5.2
I'm fairly new to P3D and have recently installed v5.1. I've tread the info on the website for v5.2 but cannot figure out whether to do a full install or just update the client, whatever that is. If I do a full install do I lose any of my mods and addons? Help!!

Re: Military activity
I haven't seen any AWACS aircraft up here but plenty of USAF tankers and large transports and the odd A400M and C17 of the RAF. All of these have been en route at high altitude obviously crossing the Atlantic. I have also noticed a lot of RAF activity over the North Sea with A330s which I guess were...

Military activity
Is it just me or am I really seeing much more military activity these days over the skies of the UK and the North Atlantic? Living where I do, in normal times there is a fairly constant stream of high altitude commercial airliners on their way to and from the USA and Canada. Since lockdown that traf...

Re: Carenado Shorts 360
Thanks for your replies folks. I have no problems with it in P3Dv5 other than getting it to slow down. Probably down to awful piloting by me but it does seem very slippery. Ctrl-E does work but I tend to use the Carenado option shift-5 from the flight deck. Flap deployment does cause a bit of baloon...

Carenado Shorts 360
Does anyone have the Carenado shed on this forum? I bought it recently for P3Dv5 and love it. However I have awful problems trying to slow it down for approach and landing especially if it's light. Typically for Carenado there is no manual so any help would be appreciated.

I've been in to Gary's site a couple of times today but I can't see anything about a sale. Where did you hear about it Graham?

Re: P3D 5.1 + Hotfix
After years of using FSX and it's predecessors I installed P3D v5.1 this week. An awful lot of modifying and fixing and a lot of pondering how to get things like GoFlight and Saitek hardware working under 5.1 but I got there and finally got to go flying. What a difference, so smooth and, of course, ...

Re: To go or not to go Prepar3d v5.1, that is the question
Nigel/Dave, Thanks for your input which is most helpful. As I suspected P3d seems to be the way to go if I want to protect most of my recent investments in flightsim. I've had the Xplane11 demo for a while now but I don't want to have to learn a whole new sim having been used to the Microsoft offeri...
