Re: HU BBC1 Sunday

Thanks, Eric. The Sky+ box is all set up in case of interruptions! I'm planning to cook roast-beef-and-yorkshires between MotoGP and Countryfile but the rhubarb-crumble-and-custard plates should be tucked away in the dishwasher in time. Should be the perfect way to weather the promised first autumna...

Re: A Kenya PDF file...

Well! I don't think 'pdf file' or '174 page document' quite do this justice, Peter! As a lazy start to my Sunday, I thought I'd have a quick look over my first coffee and see what it was all about. I downloaded it onto the iPad in a few seconds and stored it in iBooks in under a minute. It took me t...

Re: News from Wiltshire

The law has been thoroughly pursued in this horrendous crime and I've been keeping an eye on the news to make sure that you're all kept informed as to the results! The perpetrator has been brought to justice and handed down eight weeks in jail and has been forced to sign the sex offender's register ...

Re: Landing at Kai Tak

That was actually quite a good compilation, despite them all being recycled from other videos - with a nod to Nev's comment about the totally unsuitable background music. It's surprising how few decent videos there are of the Checkerboard approach - considering that it wasn't that long ago, there we...

Re: Evening all..

http://www.pic4ever.com/images/4chsmu1.gif And while you were busy with all that, I was sneaking out of the back door, having dropped off all my Rule Book modules and two huge Sectional Appendix volumes. I'm done, now, and proper retired so Rules and Routes are no longer part of my world. Sorry abo...

Re: Latest Accu-Sim C172...

Oh you lucky, lucky boys. How I'd dearly love to have this model. I look forward to hearing more about it - and eventually some videos, perhaps, Peter. Although I suspect you'll be too busy enjoying yourself for a few weeks

Ian :)

Re: The Great Dorset Steam Fair

   These posts are going all over the place! At least everybody gets two goes at a comment and every one's a winner. All the fun of the fair! And very appropriate with all the shiny showman's engines on display  Chris - it took me about 30 seconds from reading your post to find...

Re: More Great Dorset Steam Fair

Thanks for posting the pics Ian. Actually, these are Richard's pics, Eric. And very fine they are too  Mine are in another post. Thanks for the tip about CountryFile - I'm sure it will be the Great Dorset Steam Fair that features so I'll make sure I watch it on Sunday. I've just checked in to ...

Re: Be prepar3d, son, be prepar3d

I think sim launcher resolves the AI issue. There is a checkbox that re-sets it to zero on startup IIRC. Yes, it does reset it to zero on startup but it only resolves the issue temporarily. If you make any subsequent adjustment (not all - and I can't remember which ones!) then a random number will ...

Re: Be prepar3d, son, be prepar3d

Well, it sounds like you've well and truly cracked v1.4, John. I've been running it since it came out, alongside FSX, but I haven't used FSX at all other than as storage for some of the older FTX scenery which wasn't dual-install at the time. So I've just linked to those in the P3D library. The late...
