Re: Next From Skysim!
Oh boy am I going to be waiting for this! The Hawk is one of my favourite jets to fly (I currently have the freeware Iris one) but since I put Acceleration on here I have had a problem with the VC that I have not been able to resolve. The back panel to the gauges and the HUD have turned into a giant...

Re: ..if not pasta, how about sushi???
I got it within a few minutes of the file being available and it is up to Piglet's usual high standard. Very fast, very agile, nice textures and a nice VC with Piglet's usual little personal touches that are on all his planes now ;-) . The only problem is with the VC light (which Tim noted in the re...

Re: Classic dentist sketch
Oh man! There ought to be a health warning on this thread! :o I watched the links above and then started clicking on associated clips and found this gem.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qqE_WmagjY&feature=related I laughed so hard that I ended up gasping for breath and had tears literally rol...

Re: graphic Card?
I don't know what prices are like in the UK now but I just upgraded to a 8800GT (512 Mb) and love it. I can now run FSX with most sliders on the right side instead of in the middle or left of centre. :welldone: My previous card was a 6800GS 256 Mb (OC'ed from the factory) and it served me well for m...

Re: 3d lights
They are designed to work in FSX and I don't think FS9 is capable of displaying them due to the types of textures used. Jostytosty, if you like the current 3D lights you are going to love what I have been testing for the last couple of weeks! :o Shockwave 3D Lights Redux! Instead of a single landing...

ARRGGHHHH! No sound of all those lovely old jets! :brick: :@
They certainly broke the sound barrier here...I am still waiting for it to arrive!

Re: UKMIL TRio
The only problem I find with the site is the many different branches lead to confusion when searching for downloads. It's easy to forget just where you found something while browsing if you want to come back to it later to download.

Re: UKMIL TRio
It's certainly confusing and to make matters worse all the files that I did manage to find, download and then install I have since removed for one reason or another :@ . The FSX Jaguar came in with no cockpit glass and a black chute, the FSX Nimrod had no VC and the FSX Grob crashes with the 'aircra...

Re: UKMIL TRio
Hmmm...I searched the UKMIL download section several times over several days but can't seem to find the Hawk. I can see the Nimrod and the airfield but no Hawk...odd!
