Not sure as I haven't used a mic but Rift S has its own built in mic so that should continue to work.

If you connect it to the oculus using the Jack plug socket you will get the full 3d sound effect when looking around

Yes. Oculus RIFT. I am using it in P3D, DCS and X-Plane 11 without any problem and probably do about 50% of flights in VR. P3D V 4.4 has now improved the native interface so there is less reliance on 3rd party software and DCS and X-Plane work well with native interfaces too. The image isn't as shar...

I'm not sure you can in fsx. I believe the value resets to the default and you need to reset to the higher value each time.
